In the era of the Corona crisis, the process of protests across the world has not stopped and people everywhere are seen beating their heads against the government. Who is EbruTimtik

EbruTimtik was a member of the Contemporary Association of lawyers, a leftist group and closely related to the Marxist Organization.EbruTimtik was detained in early September 2018. He was sentenced to 13 years and 6 months in prison, forcing him and some other lawyers to go on strike in February.

Fellow lawyer Anasal is also on strike for 215 days

The female lawyer was sent to the Silivari jail on the outskirts of Istanbul. The court appealed against the verdict, but in October last year, the appellate court upheld the prison sentence awarded to the lawyers.
